Teen Advisory Committee (Applications Due December 13)

Step Forward is excited to announce that the online Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) application is now live on the Community Foundation of North Louisiana Scholarship website! TAC is a regional youth-led group appointed to help improve local policy decision-making and programming that impacts teens and young adults in North Louisiana. Membership in TAC provides a valuable opportunity for teens to participate in the democratic process, interact with city leaders and impact important decisions. Membership in TAC also offers teens opportunities to change/improve campus life.

Listed below are the TAC eligibility requirements:

  • Have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5

  • Attend a school in Caddo or Bossier Parish

  • Be between the ages of 14 to 18 or in the 9th through 12th grade at the time of application

  • Submit a completed TAC application with two letters of recommendation from two adults and a current transcript (email letters of recommendation & transcripts to )

Students can access the online application at . To begin the application process TAC applicants will need to click the “Apply Now” button and create a new user account. Students will need to submit a completed online application no later than Monday, December 13th at 5:00 p.m. to be considered a TAC candidate. Candidates will be notified by email with the selections committees decision on December 17, 2021.
