October 29th—Please read

This announcement applies to every 11th grade student, even those not taking the PSAT.

The PSAT will be administered Thursday, October 29th, to the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students who previously signed up and paid for the test.  Testing rosters with assigned testing rooms have been distributed to most of the teachers and have been posted in the counseling complex and outside the cafeteria.  Please check the rosters to determine whether or not you are scheduled to test.  Students who are not scheduled to test will not report to school on Thursday, October 29; these students will work virtually from home.

PSAT testers need to arrive on campus at 8:00 a.m. on October 29th, and be in your assigned testing rooms by 8:15.  It is critical that students arrive on time.  Please bring a photo ID, a #2 pencil, and an approved calculator (see list of approved calculators here:  https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/taking-the-tests/test-day-checklist/approved-calculators) and arrange for a ride home after the test.  Freshmen students will be dismissed at approximately 11:30 a.m., and sophomore and junior students will be dismissed at approximately 12:00 p.m.  Students who received an approved CollegeBoard accommodation may contact Mrs. Parnell at bparnell@caddoschools.org for an estimated completion time.  Students needing bus transportation should notify Mrs. Parnell by Friday, October 23.
