Elks Lodge Monthly Scholarship Opportunity

Seniors,

The local Elks Lodge awards $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors each month. The instructions are listed below. Please email Mrs. Parnell for an application at bparnell@caddoschools.org. You only need to submit an application one time and then you are considered for an award each month.

Elks Lodge #122 Scholarship Applicant

To quickly evaluate your application and submit as potential monthly winner, please adhere to the following:

1. Fill out thoroughly and verify all information submitted as accurate

2. Be timely in returning application (due 15th of each month) – bring to Elks Lodge #122 on Preston Ave in Shreveport, or mail to Elks Lodge #122 310 E. Preston Ave., Shreveport, LA 71105 OR if filled out electronically, email to Ruby Blackwell, the scholarship committee chair at duchessruby@aol.com

3. You need ONLY to submit once to be considered each month in the case of your OVERALL Evaluation score is higher than those submitted in later months even if not higher than recipient of the month for which you submitted.

4. Scholarships certificates will be awarded in May 2022 and actual awarded scholarship amount will be sent to college of choice upon proof of registration into that college.
