The PreACT and ACT will be administered at Caddo Magnet High School on Tuesday, March 9. All 10th graders will report to school to take the PreACT, and all 11th graders will report to school to take the ACT; this includes both traditional and virtual students. A few select 12th graders will also be taking the ACT. All 9th grade students and 12th grade students who are not required to test will remain at home and complete their school work virtually. Students taking the PreACT and ACT will be released from school at the conclusion of testing. Students taking the PreACT will be released at approximately 11:30 a.m., and those taking the ACT will be released at approximately 12:30 p.m. If you will not have a ride home and need bus transportation, please email Dr. Ellis at email@example.com to let him know.
Students are to bring a picture ID (driver’s license, school ID, military ID, etc.), a calculator, and two number two pencils. Cell phones, backpacks, and other belongings will not be needed. Snacks are permissible but they must be left at the front of the room in a location identified by the test administrator. The doors to the campus will open at 8:00 a.m., and students need to be in their identified testing rooms by 8:15 a.m.
