Serving in your local community has an abundance of benefits for your community and you as an individual. Students who wish to earn the Community Service Endorsement on their high school diploma must complete a minimum of 80 hours of documented and approved community service by the end of the first semester of their senior year. Earning community service hours and working toward the endorsement are optional.
Community service documentation forms must be submitted to the corresponding grade-level counselor and can be submitted at any time. Seniors must submit their forms/hours prior to the end of the fall semester. Community service hours completed over the summer will count toward the following school year.
