When are CLEP exams administered?
CMHS offers select CLEP exams to students who have received a teacher recommendation in mid-December and in mid-May of each year, although this is typically only offered to seniors.
A score of 50% or better on a CLEP exam correlates closely with college readiness; however, the required score to earn college credit varies by each exam.
As of July 1, 2019, the CLEP exam fee is $89 for each exam.
How long does it take to complete a CLEP exam?
Students are given 90 minutes to complete a CLEP exam.
Credit Acceptance by Colleges
The acceptance of CLEP credits varies by institutions of higher education. Students must check with the college(s) of their choice to determine whether or not CLEP credits will be accepted at that institution.
